2020 is coming at us like a freight train, and the singularity is still not here. It has been some years since cult writer Roger Williams released The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect. So you may be asking yourself sometime about now: Just where is my immortal life? Where is my jet pack? Hell, where is my sequel?

Passages in the Void will be a place where intelligent readers can meet, discuss, and get news about Roger’s fiction, interviews, and related projects.

We’re not taking away any of the cool free fiction that Roger has posted over the years. We’re planning to give you more — more interviews, more formats, and maybe, just maybe, more of that “way out there” SF we’ve come to expect from localroger.

Because of its adult themes and graphic intensity, Roger will continue to host The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect at Nearly Free Speech.

Want to be notified when Roger writes something new? Join the Passages in the Void Reader’s Group and you’ll also get a free copy of The Happiness Broker ebook, which now contains the full text of Roger’s supernatural short stories, “The Happiness Broker” and “The Powers That Abide.”

Two stories, two men who become gods…two very different outcomes.

The law of conservation of happiness states that the amount of happiness in the world cannot be increased or decreased. It can only be shifted around. What if you had the power to decide where that happiness would go? What if you had to decide who lived — and who died?

Here’s a peek inside from Amazon. You can buy it from them if you don’t want to sign up to get our newsletter. We’ll appreciate you either way.
